Members of Taiwan Pharmaceutical Alliance (TPA) will be visiting New Jersey on February 11th, 2017 and traveling to Boston on the next day. The goals of their visit are to explore business opportunities and to promote technical and business collaboration between US and Taiwan pharmaceutical industries.
TPA members comprise of companies focusing on niche generic drugs, biosimilar, and new drug development. They supply both APIs and finished dosage forms (small molecule & biotech products) to international markets, including US, EU, Japan, China and ASEAN countries.
We, TAAP will host a discussion meeting with TPA delegation at Cook College, Rutgers University. The meeting seeks to find ways to collaborate between TPA and TAAP constituents in the advancement of Taiwan's bio-Pharmaceutical industry. It is also a great opportunity for us to network and help one another on career development. Details of the meeting are as follows:

TAAP delegation to visit Taiwan on February 20-24, 2017.
The purpose is to begin a dialogue on having Taiwanese pharmaceutical industry entering the international arena. We will meet with key persons responsible for the biotechnology industry, including the Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Industries Promotion Office, and Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry Technology and Development Center. At the moment, Vice President 陳建仁, 經濟部部長李世光 and 行政院政務委員吳政忠 are also available although the exact date for our visits not yet confirmed. The schedule of other visits is being ironed out as well. I will keep you posted as it progresses. I am asked to provide a list of members of the delegation so they can better prepare to meet with us.
